washing chicken ?

i never really cook and my mom told me to wash some chicken and boil it so i washed it in the sink but there was dishes in the sink and now i’m worried that something might happen ?? was that wrong

You dont need to wash chicken. All you did just then was spread chicken juice and bacteria all over those dishes. 😬 
You’re going to want to wash them a couple of times to make sure they are good and clean.
