Globus pharyngeus has anyone had this ?

I have terrible anxiety and this has been following me for weeks. I’ve lost 10 pounds from it . I’ve seen a doctor and she said nothings wrong with my throat.

For me that was the first sign I had of my anxiety attacks, I thought I was having a reaction to something because I felt like my throat was closing up but it got a little better if I drank or ate something. Now I know it's the first sign of an anxiety attack coming, and give myself 30 seconds with my eyes closed, taking slow, deep breaths and visualising the golf ball, shrinking it to a ping pong ball, then to a marble, then to a pea. It gives me a chance to calm down, acknowledge what is happening (which is really important), and try to calm myself down. I hope this helps xxx

Any updates? Did this go away for you? I’m currently going through this. Dr says my throat is fine, but it feels terrible. Feels like I can’t breath right.

I have globus hystericus and I'm following up with my family doctor on what to do next. I'm 17 weeks pregnant and I'm having trouble swallowing foods and even sometimes water ... I'm scared to death.
