So I lost my mucus plug on Thursday and started having very mild contractions maybe an hour later. Until a larger one woke me up at 4somerhing in the morning on Friday. I was up the rest of the day.

Husband and I walked around the mall we were convinced this was it! Before then I lost two other larger chunks of the plug. Unfortunately the contractions were super inconsistent.

That was until dinner that night at my in-laws. Around 830pm they were 5-6 min apart and super intense. We finished desert and then went to the hospital! They checked me at triage and I was still only a 1.5cm and hour later they checked me Again and I was now 3!

So they checked me in and I got settled into L&D and they started me on a drug through my IV which was wonderful! I was able to sleep Immediately.

Well I labored the whole Saturday with little progress. In the morning I was still a 3, the contractions were endless >< the doctor came and broke my water which only got me to 5cm, 80-90% effaced, and supper thin. Baby boy kept moving down but I wasn’t dilating! Baby’s HR Also kept dipping every time I got a contraction. I finally got the epidural in hopes I would relax enough to dilate. I was a trooper. I have no idea how I managed.

Well in the end I still wasn’t dilating and so my only option was c-section. I was in and out and besides some small discomfort in my arms it was so easy! Nothing to be scared of at all. It latested all of maybe. 20min and then after 48 hours of no sleep baby boy was in our arms.

I am now in my room and I’ll be here u til Tuesday. I finally feel like a normal person again!
