Hey girls hmmm i’m 18 years old almost 19! and I met this boy that is my boyfriend now(my first bf🤣so weird ik) and we been talking about sex and how I don’t want to have kids and etc and he told me that I should go on birth control. He doesn’t know i’m a Virgin 😰 should I tell him?

I’ve been searching types of birth controls but I don’t really know which are the best for me. I don’t want have something that have extremely side effects, i’m super curvy so gaining more weight is a no. So i find this thing A PATCH but I don’t know if its really affective because I don’t really want to be pregnant. Can ya help me please? Also ya can comment about other birth controls.

Pd: should I also go to my doctor and talk about this?
