Me and my now fiancé got engaged the 3rd of this month! We were planning on a August 15th 2020 wedding because that date holds special meaning to us and that way we have enough time to plan our wedding. We’ll unfortunately last night we found out that both of my fiancé’s grandparents have cancer and are more then likely not going to make it another year. So we have decided that we are going to get married this August the 15th and have a very very intimate ceremony and that’s it. So just wondering would it be weird for our 1 year wedding anniversary to actually have our legit wedding with the reception to follow?
