Why does my 2 year old bang her head on things?

When she gets upset, she’ll hit her head on the nearest object. I don’t really understand why. is it something to be concerned about?

I don’t think it’s something to be concerned about. I’m not saying it’s not bad but I’ve seen a lot of kids do it like all the time throw a tantrum cry bang their head on the floor cabinet table what ever. Idk why they do it, maybe to give their selves another reason to cry and for u to comfort them since u usually do that when they hurt themselves.
