How often does your breastfed baby eat?

My baby is eating every 2 hours and I feel like it should be pushed back to 3 but not sure how to make that happen.

Not every baby can be happy on a schedule. I feed on demand and it’s anywhere from 1-3 hours between feeds. It is very often 3 hours on the morning and every hour in the evening.

Am I the only one who doesn’t look at the clock and just feeds on demand? I have no idea how often she feeds 🤷🏻‍♀️

My baby is about to be 3 months old. He sleeps 12 hours during the night every night and I feed him every 3 hours during the day. :)

My little lady who is nearly 15 weeks, nurses every 1.5-2hrs in the day. She then tends to cluster feed in the evenings (every 1-1.5hrs), a couple of times and then it’s bedtime by 8:30. 
She usually sleeps 10-12hr stretches, which probably explains why she’s so hungry the rest of the day 🙂

Breastmilk is metabolized faster than formula which is why the feed more often. It’s usually 1 1/2- 2 hours between our feedings and we wake up periodically in the night.

My little is 3 (almost 4) months old and still eats every 2 hours during the day. If I push playtime, it's 2 and 1/2 hours. And we have bedtime at 10pm and he'll sleep 6-8 hours till his next feed. We usually get up at 8am.
