Irregular bleeding is most common in the first six months. So expect your periods to be different than they are naturally. You’re gonna have to wait out the spotting but if it doesn’t subside in a few months, talk to your doctor about your options.
22 day period
I just got the iud about a month ago now and I was wondering if this was normal. I have been bleeding for 22 days. For the first 11 days (still longer than my normal 5 day period) I had excruciating cramps with a medium flow which seemed to start treading to the end by day 11, but nope. Instead I unexpectedly bled through my shorts at a kohl’s. So days 12-15 still had pretty bad cramps and everything was like a very low flow but then it got thicker and more of a shitty color towards days 16-22. My next period is suppose to start in 13 days. Wtf am I suppose to except?
