4 months! Started with baby oatmeal mixed with breastmilk. And then cooked up a sweet potato and puréed it with breastmilk! :)

Stupidly I had to look up what stage one food is😅 but yes I have been feeding my 4 month old daughter stage 1 food (probably a little thicker) for the last 12 days and she absolutely has been loving it, so far she has had 
First 3 days pumpkin purée 
Then 3 days of green bean purée 
Then 3 days of cauliflower purée 
And then she’s had 3 days of broccoli purée
My daughters health nurse suggests trying the one food for 3 days In a row to see if there any any reactions, allergies to the food and I guess I can see what she likes and dislikes, so far she’s loved all four that she has tried.
Not trying fruit for a bit because I don’t want her just liking the sweetness of fruits

He is okay with peas
Hates butternut squash.

I let him taste some fruits and veggies (strawberries, watermelon, banana, cucumber so far) but just to suck on them. Haven’t started actually feeding yet... he did get a little piece of banana off yesterday though 😂😂 chewed it up and swallowed before I could get the piece out... little bugger 😂

4 months and have done a little bit of carrot purée the last couple days. 2 days by spoon and 2 days frozen in his little easy feeder thing. I do have a question though, how much are you feeding them when you give purée?

had 4 month check up yesterday and got the ok to start and it doesn’t matter which i choose first - cereal/oatmeal or purées. from what i’ve heard, people suggest veggies first then fruits.

So my pedi said to wait but my guy is little (14 lbs 9 oz 25” at 20 weeks) and VERY interested in food. He grabs it off my plate, has grabbed my fork, takes his gas drops like I’m spoon feeding him, watches us eat fascinated.... he’s ready.
I was willing to hold off another month but now he’s eating like he’s snacking- barely bread for more than 4 minutes at a time and refusing a bottle. Should I just go ahead and try oatmeal??

What is stage 1 food?
I started yesterday by trying to let her taste some porridge based on maize flour with a tiny tiny bit of kiwi. 1 dl water, ½ maize flour, ½ formula and some kiwi puree.
I started early due to her having formula, her eating habits are crazy and to the low side and she seems ready. So we agreed to slowly start now.
