1st Dr Appointment Advice!?

So I’m 5 weeks 2 days pregnant I will be 6 weeks pregnant soon I have my first Dr Appointment on August 14 is there anything I should look forward too that might go down at my Dr appointment 
This is my First pregnancy could use some Advice Thank You xoxo🥰❤️

I just found out Friday night that I’m expecting my first. I have to go in today for bloodwork and my doctor wants to see me tomorrow to see if we can do an ultrasound to see how far along I am

All they did at mine was do a pregnancy test, some blood work, and asked some medical history questions

Mine was so disappointing. 😂 I know they see pregnancies all the time, so I wasn’t expecting a party or anything, but I expected them to congratulate me and give me a packet of information regarding pregnancy. NOPE. My appointment was just with the nurse, and she was really mean to me because my positive was sooo faint (little did I know that I was in the process of miscarrying). Then I almost passed out because I’m terrified of needles and she was having trouble getting the seven tubes of blood she needed, so she yelled at me and accused me of not eating. 😂 I had to drag answers to my questions out of her. I was just so put off by the first appointment!!
Not that yours will be like this...I just had to share because I’m still bothered by how mean she was. 😜 I think a NORMAL doctor’s office will verify you are pregnant, maybe even congratulate you, ask questions about medical history, and give you some information about safe medications, foods, etc.
