anyone elses newborn sleeping too much?? the first few nights were horrible with very little sleep, ill admit....but starting two nights ago, our baby girl who is only 12 days old today, has been sleeping for longer periods of time. i am breastfeeding and supplementing with formula when she is still hungry and we have gone past 45 mins nursing.

last night, she had a feeding at around 11:30 pm...went to sleep and didnt wake up until around 4 (because i changed her diaper) and only nursed for about 30 mins because she went back to sleep....i was hoping she would get up right now since its been about 2 hrs but she hasnt...is all this normal newborn behavior?? she has already gained her birthweight and even surpassed it...im just concerned because i read newborns usually dont sleep through the night until they are about 12 weeks old...
