My husband and I have picked my mother’s first name and put together my mother in-laws name combined with part of my daughters name and good friends name.

However I feel that doing this since two of the four have passed away that we’d not on purpose associate her with loss. I’d rather give her a while different name because I realize how hard it is for my husbands recent loss. My mother died three years ago his mom three months ago.

Thoughts?

We did have this name picked out before his mother died Emberlyn Ruth. But the middle name was my mother’s do I know he’d be hurt if we only used my mother’s name. However I’d like to be selfish and say I am carrying the baby I get to pick but that’s not loving.

Any advice?
