Is it weird that she said that ?

Okay so my friend was telling me about how this guy from church likes her . She said she doesn’t have feelings for him or whatever and she goes on to say “ you might like him . He’s black “ . I’m also black so I was like kinda like um what? At that. When I look for a partner I don’t care what race they are just because I’m black doesn’t mean I’ll automatically be attracted to another black person. I just thought it was kinda weird that she said that. I didn’t really take any offense to it because I guess it wasn’t that deep but it was just weird for her to assume automatically that we’ll be perfect for each other because we’re both black . I hardly even know this dude never seen him in my life .
