my SO and I want to try new things we are both females and I heard many people play with toys but I don’t know which one is safer and better please comment tips we are planning to have strap ons and dildos

Jelly toys are NOT safe. They are made with materials that are dangerous to humans, especially when you are exposing yourself to them through the delicate and highly vascular tissues of your genitals. Silicone is also generally completely body safe, so you don't have to worry about whether or not your sex toys are toxic if you buy silicone. The same goes for glass and metal. 
Last but certainly not least, glass, metal, and silicone can all be sanitized by boiling them in water. This is a huge advantage if you are sharing toys and also just in terms of personal health because you have the ability to eliminate any and all germs before and after using a toy, thereby keeping your genitals free of foreign bacteria or other microorganisms.

Metal:
Pros: you can heat and cool it with water to do temperature play
Cons: can’t think of any other than that they’re really hard and that can be uncomfortable
Glass:
Pros and cons: same as with metal. Extra pro they look super cool. Don’t worry about them breaking, they’re made of really hard glass that doesn’t break unless you throw it on the floor with like 100 miles an hour. 
Plastic:
Pros: it’s usually pretty cheep
Cons: it’s plastic
Jelly:
Not sure what material you’re talking about but I’m gonna assume it’s those rubbery things. 
Pros: they’re soft but still very ridged. Pretty sure you can use any lube on them (might not be able to use oil tho)
Cons: I find them a bit too ridged. 
All options are safe as long as you keep them clean and use the right kind of lube. Don’t go too big to begin with. Rather have more toys than one that’s too big. 
For plastic and jelly they usually come with a vibrator inside so that’s nice tho I don’t personally like them cus they’re placed weirdly and don’t really do anything for me. I’d recommend a silicone one if you like softer options and glass or metal if you want something hard

Personally i prefer glass and silicone. Glass is great for temperature play, and silicone just feels better. But always remember to clean before and after using it.
