C section moms...?

Question

At my 6 week PP my doc said I’m a good candidate for a VBAC if I get pregnant AFTER 1 year. 
However almost every source online says at least 1.5 to 2 years! 
Asking cause I HATED the c section and want to avoid at all costs next time. 
What did your doc say? Or what’s your experience?

My doctor asked that we wait at least 6 months!

My doctor told me to wait two years to get pregnant. I believe it’s the WHO recommendation.

I’m good for a vbac too and all the nhs guidelines just advise not getting pregnant for at least a year after c section.

My surgeon advised two years. Though I'm not sure if that's birth to birth, or birth to pregant / TTC.
Saying that, I would go for c sec again so it's not so much of a concern as opting for vbac xx

I didn’t have a csection but my SIL’s best friend had a csection then got pregnant right after, and had a successful VBAC. Her sons are 11 months apart.

I just had my VBAC with this baby but my pregnancies were 5 years apart but I’d honestly wait at least 18 months you want your uterine wall as strong as it can be otherwise they may be less hesitant to let you TOLAC
