Hi I’m 13 and had unprotected sex 2 Sunday’s ago. It was supposed to be my ovulation day. I have been having cramps and been moody super tired and feel like throwing up. I stated bleeding really light on the 19th. I am still bleeding but it’s super light and no where even close to my normal period. Could I be pregnant?

Yes you can be pregnant and you can be pregnant anytime you have sex. What you did is very irresponsible and careless. You’re 13 and that’s young to have sex as is. But then you throw in the fact that it was unprotected! You need to use condoms and get on birth control ASAP if you’re not already pregnant. Stop being careless.

yes. you could be pregnant because you aren’t on birth control and the sex was unprotected. there’s many articles and books for young girls wanting to learn about periods and how to protect themselves from pregnancy. you need to have a conversation with a guardian or an adult you trust to get you on the right path. if you are pregnant , learn from it, explore options , and do what’s best for you and baby. but if you aren’t, you dodged a bullet and you need to take care of yourself and your body! ENJOY BEING YOUNG, finish school, make goals, find someone who loves you , and then have a family when you’re mentally , physically, and financially ready. i’m not encouraging you to have sex because i deffo don’t recommend it at this young EVER but i can’t stop you or anyone at that matter. all i can do is tell you is that birth control is essential and kids now a days are doing more than i had no clue about when i was 13!

Take a test and start using condoms, get on birth control, and/or stop having sex at all. Idk where you’re at, but where I’m from 13 is WAY under the age of consent. 13 is much to young to be having sex, unprotected sex at that.

I know that a lot of the people commenting are being extremely rude to you so hopefully this helps you feel a little better. Any time you have unprotected sex you have the possibility of getting pregnant although doing so during your ovulation time makes it way more likely you will get pregnant. The best way to tell if you are or not is get a pregnancy test, Walmart sells cheap ones for about 89¢ and they work just as well as the expensive ones if used correctly. In the future use protection and possibly talk to your parents or guardians about getting on some form of birth control. You have to remember that not using condoms opens the door for a lot of bad things( not just unplanned babies) you could end up with an STD. Please take some time to educate yourself on the risks of having sex. And please always remember no matter how much someone pressures you, you always have the right to make them use a condom or just don’t have sex with them. Talk to your parents if you find out that you are pregnant.
