Today I went for my anatomy scan. Baby looked great, but the doctor thought that maybe she had a small VSD. He said it’s common and not to worry, but to speak to a genetic counselor in case it’s linked to a genetic syndrome like Down Syndrome and to possibly do amnio, and also to get an echocardiogram. I have had NIPT and nuchal and both came back low risk. This is my 4th pregnancy and my first to reach second trimester. I am distraught. Can anyone relate?
