I’ve been on this app for a while, however I’m new to this group. So... Adoption has been on my heart since I was a teen. However, I wanted to wait until I felt I was in a good space to provide the home I would like for a child. I met my husband and we married 3 years ago. He has blessed me with 3 amazing bonus kids! They are 20, 17 and 13- some of the sweetest, funniest people you will ever meet! The oldest is finding his way into adulthood and independence while the youngest two continue to spend time with us at least every other weekend, sometimes more (during school breaks). We are very family oriented and love to have movie nights, game nights and cookouts. We enjoy road trips to sightsee and experience new things. We enjoy going to museums and cultural events in the community, some of which, we help organize. Most importantly, we love to laugh!! Im a 34 y/o AA clinical social worker and I LOVE arts and crafts so any hands on activities I come across, I love to do with the children in our circle. My husband is a 40 y/o AA navy veteran who currently works assembly. He is huge sports fan and really into language and cars. He teaches our children and also volunteers to share his passion with other children as well. Though he was previously able to conceive children, at this point in his life we are unable to conceive one of our own. We are looking forward to adding to our family and certainly looking forward to having a little one to shower with love and learning 24/7.
