I was horrible with my pills. I almost never took them at the same time everyday. Some days I forgot them, but my period always came anywhere between 2-4 days into my sugar pills.

As long as you aren't more than a day late on taking the pill, you are likely fine. I usually started my period around 3 days into taking the sugar pills.
