Pregnancy test control line faint

I took this today any idea why the control like is sooo faint and the test line is soooo dark? I took a couple tests last week and they were positive but the control line was darker than the test. I have a history of miscarriages so my dr told me to take a week apart and then come in. She won’t see me till 10 weeks. Really hoping this one sticks
