Paragard IUD? Pros and cons?

Hey guys looking to try an IUD for birth control called paragard. Has anyone used it before? What were your experiences like? I was on the depo shot last year and got pregnant and a little crazy! Lol so my doctor said this is the best one to not mess with my hormones at least. All advice welcome! Just had my baby last week so have a few weeks till next appointment

I got mine on June the 3rd and had to have it removed monday because it moved due to a very my first heavy period after having my daughter. Getting another one placed next week that should be fine because my periods are back and that just so happen to be the first one to have after giving birth... but since I got it my husband and I have had lots of unprotected sex and been just fine.
