Breastfeeding on lamotrigine?

Hi mommas im taking 200mg of lamotrigine/lamictal twice daily. Im 28 weeks pregnant so. I saw my dr two months ago he says its okay to breastfeed then today he says idk look it up on Google. Yeah thats what happens when you get free insurance through the system smh. I just want to know if anyone is taking this dose or similar and breastfeeding i dont want to put strong meds in my babys system and cause harm please let me know

Hello!  I see that this is an old post but I am currently on Lamictal.  I’ve been for the last 15 years but only on 250 mg once a day.  First pregnancy was perfect, I have a beautiful healthy smart as hell 4 year-old daughter but I decided not to breast-feed because I was scared of the risks but now that I’m pregnant again I’m considering breast-feeding the second baby so I was just looking to see how it went for you and if there were any side effects to the baby? ￼￼￼
