When to start washing

Question

Currently 28 weeks pregnant with a baby girl, due October 16th. Just wondering when I should start washing her clothes to prepare for her arrival. Her room is almost done and everything is put away in her dresser but I have yet to put them through the wash. Is now too soon? Maybe a few more weeks?

I’m 26 weeks and I’ve already started washing my baby’s clothes. I’ll probably wash them twice before he actually gets here

Im 28 weeks and washed a tubberwear bin full (thats where im storing them til room is set up) and long as they can be put away from dust id say start whenever.

I wash and put clothes away as I buy them. As long as they're going in a drawer or closet it will be fine.

Im 27 + 3 and I'm also due in october with a boy 💙 I will be washing his clothes twise 1st I'll do it next week and will do it again around at 34/35 weeks i will put it away exactly were are they supposed to go! Sense I still have them with tags and everything just tuck in his dressers but regarding you're question I think any week from now on but definitely before 37 weeks just in case baby decides to come around that time👍

I washed all of the clothes I planned on storing in the dresser at 28 weeks. They shouldn’t collect dust and the dresser is clean, so I don’t see a reason to wait. Lol.

I personally only wash the first size. Because if for some reason baby grows fast and sizes dknt match seasons anymore then you cant return or resale at the best price. So I'd say wash newborn when you're ready but hold off on the rest until babys in that size

I’ve washed all of the little baby grows and blankets. FYI they smell amazing and I keep going into his dresser for a sniff 🙈😂 I’ve not washed any of his “fancy” outfits. I have been gifted so many 0-3 month outfits and I don’t think he will get the chance to wear them all so I have kept the tags on them so I can donate them if he doesn’t wear them :)
