What are some of the best canvases for acrylic, oil, watercolor, & gouache?
Websites? Discounts? Help a starting artist out please

I am a professional artist and instructor, and I can tell you that you don’t need the most expensive stuff. Here’s what I recommend:
For watercolor/guache: 40lb cold pressed paper, make sure you stretch it so it doesn’t bubble. (You can learn how on YouTube) 
For acrylics and oils, any primed stretched canvas works. Look for ones without visible staples on the sides. Try to avoid canvas panels because they tend to bow and aren’t archival. 
I buy all of mine at Michaels or Hobby lobby because they both offer 40% coupons year round.
