Bad sleepers - did it change after the leap?

I am just curious if anyone who had a bad sleeper for a longer time (too short naps, lot of wakings in the night, fighting sleep) notice any difference approaching the end of the leap? And if yes did you do something that made your baby sleep better or the baby just started to sleep better on their own. I am just asking because everyone is so happy that their LOs are finishing their leaps, but I am curious if the sleep habits really change?
