Thinking about my future.... and I feel like I’m in a dark place......and will forever stay there

I’m 24 and had no guidance when I was younger. I messed up my credit bad.. I moved out from parents at 18. And my credit is SH*T 😢 I don’t know who to turn to or where do I ask for help? Are credit repair companies legit? I tried disputing something on Credit Karma and it dropped my credit score by 20 points (it’s for a credit card I paid off in Jan. 2017. 2 f*ckin years ago and it’s still on my damn credit!!) I need serious help. My future has been on my mind so much lately. I want to buy a house in 10 years but with my damn credit, it seems impossible. I pay so much right now in bills and rent (it just went up by $100) that I can barely save up money 😢 Please any suggestions, tips, advice is helpful.

PS- my mom said she is willing to add me to her credit card as an authorized user to get my credit up but I owe so much I don’t think it’s going to help with my credit 😢
