Fevers?

Question

Anyone else's baby have a low grade fever alot? She's had a fever off and on since she was born, but especially since her vaccines on 7/9. Since her vaccines she's been more grouchy with a low fever off and on. It's hot where I live but we have AC in the house and keep it between 68-74. My ped said fevers are normal and don't be concerned til they reach 105 but that seems insane to me, my friend is a nurse and said that's crazy too.

105 is absurd. I hope you misunderstood your doctor and he didn't mean to give you that guideline. My sister was just told to take her 2.5 month old to the ER for a fever of 102. My doctor said to call in for any sustained fever over 100.4...although that may change at his next appointment since he'll be 4 months old.
As far as low grade fevers are concerned, my baby does not regularly run fevers. If your baby is consistently running a fever, maybe he just runs a little warmer than average? My baby's temperature is regularly 97.6, and other babies can regularly run in the 99's.
