How did you wean off breastfeeding?

Thinking of making the switch. Want to avoid mastitis ..what's the best way to wean?

Honestly I didn’t have any problems just stopping. I pumped less & less & that was it. I never had any pain. Just leakage occasionally until nothing at all.

Do it slowly! As someone who frequently gets blocked ducts and masistis it ain't worth doing it fast! Plus it will be less of a shock to baby's tummy to go slow.
I was going to drop one feed at a time, every few days. So I for instance would give a bottle for the second feed of the day. As I suffer bad with blocks, I wpuld pump the missed feed for fifteen mins the first day, then increasingly less until down to just 5 mins then stop.
After a few days then do this with another feed.
If you don't feel uncomfortable then no need to gradually pump in lesser amounts, but yeah just drop one feed at a time and leave at least 2 or 3 days before dropping another
