Second weddings?

My partner and I have both done the big wedding thing before. I’m divorced and his wife sadly passed away. We’ve just bought a house together and share his 4 year old daughter and trying for another.

Anyway we’ve been talking about getting married. We want to do something small and low key but he’s got a huge family, plus his late wife’s family is a big part of our lives and my own moderately sized family alone is making it difficult to decide.

We though backyard bbq but our space is just a touch too small. What did you do to keep your wedding low key, casual and inexpensive? Or what have you seen at weddings that were a good time with no stress? Just hunting for ideas!
