Progesterone injection rash?

Is it normal to have a rash in the general injection area? I attached a picture but they’re raised bumps - ignore the birth mark that’s on the left side -

and it’s in the general area I do progesterone shots on one side. Both sides have some pretty gnarly knots but this is a first...

Thank you all!! I called the nurses and they’re going to talk to the doctor and see. I’ve been doing them for 3 weeks and this randomly happened so we shall see what he says!

I had the same thing happen! The first 3 weeks were fine. Then it got itchy and little rashes. I haven’t told dr yet. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I had a huge rash that went to both sides after about 3 weeks of doing the shots. My doctor switched me to compounded progesterone, as it’s more pure. Unfortunately my insurance doesn’t cover it, but thankfully the rash has finally healed weeks later.

Yea I’m taking 200mg progesterone vaginal suppository. Not the best site as my husband has to put it in every night and it makes my discharge stink funny. But anything for my baby. Our insurance didn’t cover it either 47$ a month

Call nurse ASAP because that may be an allergy (most likely to the oil than the progesterone).
