Let’s talk period problems

One of my major problems I have when I’m on my period is constipation. And it’s absolutely horrible. I will spend 30+ minutes trying to go to the bathroom. I sweat so badly, and the pain is worse then period cramps. I hate it 😫 Does anyone know how to lessen the pain of period constipation? It only started a couple months ago, sometimes it will be diarrhea but most times it’s constipation. I eat healthy, I workout, and I drink lots of water, all things that are supposed to lessen my systems. But it hasn’t helped at all... if anyone has a suggestion please comment!!
