IUI with Donor Sperm

After two failed IUIs and one failed IVF cycle using my husband’s sperm, a 6 month long break and numerous conversations, we decided to move forward with using a donor and trying a few more IUIs.

I have not been ovulating naturally and have irregular cycles due to all the treatments this past year. But other than that, no problems on my end. Our FS gave us a 10-15% chance of success per IUI.

Anyone have success doing IUIs with a donor?? If so how many tries did it take and what was your protocol?

We’re 5 days into the 2WW on our first IUI with donor sperm. We got it from Fairfax Cryobank. I had 1 big follicle for sure, possibly 3 on day of procedure due to taking Letrozole. I want to be hopeful but don’t want to feel crushed if it takes a handful of tries..
