Lingerie for his bday? Or our anniversary?

So my bf birthday is coming up in a few weeks. I was thinking of surprising him with some lingerie. But our 2 year is also coming up next month. Should I save the lingerie for his bday or save it for out anniversary. I don’t want to do both because the second time won’t be as special.
