Work and pregnancy. A rant.

Kassie

My work was just recently bought out and now we have new ownership, and because of that, insurance is changing and people left so job opportunities opened up. I work a front desk and I basically run it, but without a title. I was hoping for a promotion, but my general manager wants me to "wait until I have the baby because i'll want this time blah blah blah" which like seems like not his place to say but okay. Either way, he said he has plans for my job movement and I just need to trust. Well, things with the new owners aren't going well because they are making drastic changes and this has been a very hormonal week for me, so i'm not so much the leader I normally am and am a little more a mess than usual and I just feel like i'm not the best representation of myself. It iust sucks because I hate how people always view pregnant people as these crazy emotional beings with no logic, when I am a perfectly competent and sane person. I'm just really frustrated lol
