I’m 5 weeks postpartum, I had a second degree tear and I still have some stitches (NO IM NOT GOING TO HAVE SEX YET LOL) I’m just wondering if since my stitches haven’t come out yet, if I’ll have to wait longer than 6 weeks to have sex? I have my 6 week pp check up on Monday so I will know when I for sure can then. But I’m just curious if since my stitches haven’t come out if I have to wait a certain time to have sex once they finally do come out or if I’m completely healed when they do?! I know some people said their stitches were dissolved by 2 weeks so I’m confused why mine aren’t and if I have to wait longer now
