Uterine lining w/o blood

I’m on my period and there’s a little bit of blood but only streaks. I shed this thing I think was my uterine lining. It was the texture of discharge until you stretched it out a bit and then it was like a layer of slimy skin. You couldn’t break though it. I’m just wondering how I could have shed my uterine lining with pretty much no blood?
