Ok so here is whats happening. Earlier this year my friend Andrew had an abusive and cheating ex-boyfriend. My friend group and I were able to convince him to break it off. Just yesturday Andrew posted a picture of himself and his abusive ex together with the caption "with my s/o." I txted him and asked if they were back together or not and he said "No just friends"

My group found out and they were furious. They were saying things like:

"We can't believe you are going this!"

"We are cutting you off!"

I think that is not the way to handle this situation so I put in some input.

I don't know what to do? And I am scared of what is going to happen. Please help me. I could use so advice.
