Diva cup?

Question

So my cycle is super heavy right now and I’m changing a super tampon every 2 hours and it’s leaking down on the string so I wear a pad for extra coverage, well instead of buying a ton of tampons should I invest in a diva cup? Never tried one and want to know how it worked for you ladies.

I love my menstrual cup! It’s the best investment ever! I did a lot of research before I purchased one though. There’s a lot of different ones and they all can fit a little different. Figure out what you think might work best and try it out! If one doesn’t work well (too small/big, too rigid, too tall, etc), try a different design or brand. I ended up with Lena and it works perfect for me. Diva is nice because it’s sold in store but I didn’t try it because it seemed too rigid and big for me. Look up reviews and give it a shot! If your flow is really heavy, I’d suggest taking it out every 6 hours to start. I have a light to normal flow so I only clean it out twice a day (morning and before bed). Good luck!!

I’ve used a Diva cup for years and I love it.  I’ve saved a lot of money and I believe it is safer and more hygienic.

If your period is that heavy you might still have to change the cup pretty often because it’s not that big even tho it’s supposed to last 12 hours
