I am really hoping to get some help with this.

I just recently turned 36 and my wife and I are TTC with baby #1. We had three unsuccessful <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IUI</a>’s earlier this year and now we’re moving into <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a>.

Below is the details from the calendar we just received:

CD1: my last period started July 17th

CD2: started birth-control on July 18th

CD14: last day of birth control will be July 30th (13 days of birth control)

CD16: first labs/sono on Aug 2nd

CD18: start injections on August 4th (Menopur 75IU, Follistim 225 units)

CD21: labs/sono on August 7th

CD22: start Ganirelix (if needed) on August 8th

CD23,26,27,28: lab/sono on August 9th, 12th, 13th, 14th

CD27: potential last day of stims on August 13th (trigger that night)

CD29: anticipated retrieval on August 15th

The first thing that threw me off about this calendar is that I’m starting injections on the 18th day of my cycle. I would assume that my body would have already potentially ovulated at this point... but I get that being on birth control I wouldn’t really actually ovulate.

So is the birth-control supposed to reset my cycle? Meaning that when I go in for first labs on August 2 this would be like my baseline appointment? (Similar to when I would go in on cycle day two or three in an <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IUI</a> while I’m still actually menstruating?) Because if that’s the case it takes away a lot of the confusion and most of my other questions are then answered (except what happens if my cycle doesn’t restart before August 2nd?)

Also, anyone have a similar STIM calendar as me?! We are doing frozen transfer so I don’t have the transfer calendar just yet. But would love to connect with any ladies that are stimming around the same time!
