Hi all!! I’m currently pregnant 9w+5d and eagerly awaiting my first scan. It came through the post & I won’t be scanned until I’m 13 weeks 😫 I know in the grand scheme of things it’s not that long but I’m so anxious to know everything is going ok after 2 miscarriages it’s like the two week wait but a million times harder!! I mentioned to my midwife about paying for a private scan but she said it’s a bit pointless, the risk doesn’t drop until 12 weeks and the late effects of too many scans haven’t been properly investigated so she’s put me off a bit. Is anybody else waiting for their first scan? & what are you doing to keep your anxiety in check? Thanks in advance xx
