I signed up for health insurance in the end of June. My first payment wasn’t scheduled to come out until August 26th (so very recently) but I called the day it’s suppose to come out and told them i wanted to add pregnancy to my policy and they said that they won’t cover me because I knew I was pregnant before the first payment came out and that pregnancy is a pre existing condition. I’m also married and most likely won’t get approved for access because my husband and I make too much together. I don’t know what to do! I’m in tears because i know I’m due for my first ultrasound and i want to make sure my baby is ok. I see so many of my friends announcing their pregnancies and talking about hearing a heartbeat and I don’t even know if my baby has one!😩😩😢😢😭😭 I’m scared and I don’t know how I’m going to afford my pregnancy with it coverage! 🤷🏽‍♀️😭 I ended up going to the ER a few weeks ago because I had pain and bleeding and they just told me my levels are fine and that the baby seems fine but they didn’t tell me much or let me hear a heartbeat. They also told me I could be having a miscarriage so at this point I don’t know what to think! 😩😩😩...please help!
