Missed Miscarriage at 10w4d

I went in for the ultrasound at 10w4d and they couldn't find baby's heartbeat. The baby measured a week behind at 9w4d. We had last ultrasound at 8w5d and the baby had a strong heartbeat of 169bpm and doctor was very hopeful that it looks like a viable pregnancy. But still it happened. We were one of the 4% unlucky couples who experienced miscarriage even after getting a strong heartbeat in one of the early first trimester scans. The doctor didn't have any explanation.I was devastated the last whole week. This is my first pregnancy. But, now I think whatever happened, happened for a reason. Probably this is the nature's way of selecting the baby's compatibility with life. And, it didn't find it compatible.

I am now feeling very positive to move on. The doctor also mentioned that the chances of a successful and healthy pregnancy in few months following the miscarriage are very high. Sending positive vibes to all those who had similar experience like me. ❤️
