Preworkout/protein shake - what is safe with breastfeeding?

Anyone know of a pre workout and protein shake that's okay to take while breastfeeding?

I was told not to take any preworkout while nursing because of the stimulants and because they are really unregulated. The FDA found lots of brands have undeclared ingredients including amphetamine-like drugs.

No preworkout is safe while pregnant or breastfeeding, but I do a cup of coffee to give me a little boost before working out. Most protein powders are ok, check ingredients to make sure they haven’t added any preworkout ingredients. I’m in a FB group called Milky Fitness that can help answer your questions!

Yes!! I use the Beachbody pre workout, post workout and Shakeology. I’m not breastfeeding but work with a lot of moms that do and really depend on these for the extra boost and nutrients! If you’re interested in trying any, shoot me a note and we can connect 🙌🏻
