Mine never took a pacifier. 🙄 She’d suck on it for a couple seconds, then get super mad when nothing came out. We tried introducing one at a couple points as a comfort object/sleep aid, and she never had any interest. Go figure.

Yes!!! And 2 now 😡 somehow she got the idea of a back up binky. I think she lost hers in the crib one too many times and now has one in her mouth and a spare 😩 I’m doing more binky retrieval now more than ever cause now she cries for “uh oh where other Bebe go?” When she loses the spare 😂 I have no idea how to get back to just 1 lol. The spare used to sit on dresser so I’d give that one to her in the middle of the night when she lost hers. Ain’t adding another spare to the dresser then she’ll have 3 in bed with her hahahahaha

Our little guy had a Wubanub (the paci with a little stuffed animal attached). I actually thought he’d have it until he’s two, although at 18 months we only gave it to him in the crib, so during nap and nighttime. But one morning we found that he had bitten the tip almost all the way off and didn’t want him to bite it off and choke on it while he slept, so we cut off the paci part and let him keep the monkey. He was fine -
I might have cried a little 😂 but I’m pregnant and hormonal, and I didn’t know it was going to be his last time with his paci lol

We used a paci for naps only and took it away at 9 months...I had heard too many horror stories of how hard it is to take away when they get past 1 yr old!

We use it mostly for sleeping or long car trips, and here and there depending on the day

Yes. He only uses it for sleeping though. I’ll probably try taking it away in the next few months, but I’m not in a big hurry.

we took his away during the day at 9 months. only used at bedtime until he was about 11 months... by his first birthday he was totally done with it and has never replaced it with toys or fingers/thumb or anything like that.... any time he sees another baby or toddler with one he yanks it out of their mouth and throws it on the floor like "you dont need that" 🤦🏼‍♀️ we never really pushed him to take a binky in the first place so he wasnt super connected to it. certainly made for an easy transition!

I took my daughters away overnight when she was 15 months by the next day she completely forgot about it and haven’t used one since

When shes 2 I'll get rid, not doing any harm atm
