Hey any moms that have little ones already?

I'm about 3 weeks from being induced, and I'm so anxious and scared. I don't do well with pain. Any advice to help calm a worried ftm?

Breath, you will be fine. Talk to your doc about pain meds for a while, see if you can labor in a shower or bath, or at least walk around. If you plan on getting an epidural try and hold out for a bit, your brain will tell you the pain is worse than it is. Birthing is more of a mind of matter thing. You will be fine and you got this. I was induced with my first and although it was long, once you are holding that little one it doesn’t matter.... so picture yourself holding that little one and know that every contraction and push brings you closer to your baby.

More stress you are more you are going against your body.
Remember that your body was meant to dp this, it's hard but if you remind youraelf that with every contraction  you are close to meet your baby.
Breathing is the most important factor.
If you contract yourself you will make it worse.
Go with the flow and let your body do the work, you will be surprised of how much your body can take and how strong we are. 
You can do it mama!!

Just remember that your body knows what it’s doing! The feeling is different for everyone— some find it to be painful, others might describe it as intense. The good news is that you’re getting something amazing out of all of it, and you forget about the pain once you see your little baby.

Honestly it seems scary before and it is intense but it's over and then you have the most wonderful little thing in your arms. It really makes the entire labor experience fade into the back of your mind. I was extremely nervous too and my labor did not go as planned but here I am a year later about to do it again! So if that tells you anything it should be that it's not gonna be the end of the world! We were made for this!
