Things to do for baby’s first birthday (not a party)

Our baby will be one at the end of January, and we are having a party a few days before his birthday but I also want my partner and I to spend the day with him without friends or family.

We live in the East Midlands but don’t mind travelling, is there anything good we could do for the whole day that our baby would appreciate? Thank you
