I took out my last piercing today, my nipple piercings. I’ve been wanting to for a long time, but I was really trying to hold onto them because they are my last piercing.

All in all, I’ve had earlobe and cartilage piercings - they would never heal & cause issues, which is why I took them out. I had my belly button pierced for nearly 3 years, and it randomly rejected one day. I had my tragus pierced, and it was wonderful, healed nicely, and never gave me issues. I took it out for a job. And then, my nipples.

They weren’t awful, but they weren’t great. They would heal, but then get irritated and start acting up again. Recently, my ball had started rubbing against my nipple and rubbed my nipple raw, which wasn’t fun.

Plus, I’ve decided if I want a baby, I would like to breastfeed out of my actual nipple and not 3 different places.

My nipples actually look so weird to me right now. It’s been forever since I’ve seen them without a piece of jewelry, but I know I’m gonna enjoy not having to worry about getting them caught on things & them getting irritated with the uniforms I wear.
