Type of BC

So I am terrible at remembering to take pills but I have been on the pill for a while now and will do really well at taking it but then for get it or not prioritize it. I use birth control mostly to make my period less aggressive (I have yelled out in pain before because of a cramp. Mine are bad I will just cuddle a heating pad and take so many tylenol which I know is not good for me but it is the only way I can get out of bed. I was thinking about getting the implant in my arm but I was wondering what people's experiences were with it.
