Where is your April baby sleeping?

Just curious! We still have our son in our room because I’m breastfeeding and he usually gets up once or twice to nurse. I think my husband would rather move him to his nursery, but mama needs as much sleep as possible! Not to mention I really love having him so close to me at night.

We pushed a crib up against our bed and bed share technically. It works well for us since I don’t have to get out of bed at night to feed and he can smell me and sleep soundly. The first year or two is about building trust with your baby, so being there to answer cries is a must if you want a well-adjusted toddler later on.

For maybe 2 weeks she slept with us ( just because she would cry if I left ) however I wanted my sleep so I trained her to be in her crib. Now she sleeps all throughout the night .  She wakes up around 7-9am.  🙌🙌

In my room but isn’t by choice we just don’t have another room lol

In my room. In a bassinet and currently working on a transition into the pack and play. My plan is for her to sleep in my room until a year but to start her naps in her room around 8-9 months.

He does the first stretch of sleep in his crib in his room but after he wakes up to feed, he sleeps in the bassinet in our room for the rest of the night. In another month or so, we’ll probably have him do the whole night in his room.
