Venting!

Arrived at my OB office this morning with my husband for 12 week ultrasound and NIPT. We’ve been waiting a little over a month for this! Only to be told the doctor we were scheduled to see was on call and is at the hospital. They said they called and left a voicemail this morning, but they definitely did not. Now my husband wasted a half day of work and might not be able to come to the rescheduled appointment.

I’m not annoyed the doctor was called to a birth, of course. But why did they schedule us on his on call day when he is the only one who does the genetic ultrasound?! And why say you called this morning when you clearly didn’t?! Rant over. 😡🤦‍♀️
